Experienced Designer / UX Specialist - Web Application / Mobile

OJO solutions are seeking to expand its design and development team and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced designer / UX specialist.  This is a unique opening to join a thriving design and technology business in the South West of England. 

This role will enable you to deploy your existing skills and experience and expose you to working on cutting edge applications for a vast array of clients a variety of sectors, specialising in the health and charity sectors 

About the role

In this role, you will be leading the design process, producing high-quality design work, from concept, wireframes, UX process and user journey mapping, right through to finished artwork for website and mobile applications for a high profile client base and will be involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle. 

You will be keen on embracing best practices, including agile approaches, and continuous integration, you will need to ensure that each element of the application design is translated into working solutions, just as the client imagined.  

You will have a solid understanding of mobile first, responsive web and application design supported by core fundamentals of UX as well as a flair for design and supporting portfolio of previous work. 

A significant part of the role is mobile design. We are always looking to push the boundaries of what is possible and coming up with new ideas and solutions to problems and turn these into a reality.  

You will be comfortable and confident dealing directly with customers to gather requirements, understand briefs, produce solutions design documents and lead design workshops. 

You will also act as first and second line support liaising with customers on changes they need to their products and develop specifications for new clients and work.
